I've searched the NOD32 site, trying to find a place to report a bug, but since i couldn't find a place i decided post it here:
When VMWare server is installed on a server, or workstation, the Remote Administrator Server/Console reports the wrong MAC address for that client.
Instead of reporting the MAC address for the "Ethernet Adapter for <LAN connection name here>" it reports the MAC address for "VMware Network Adapter VMnet1".
Ethernet adapter VMware Network Adapter VMnet1:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet1
Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-50-56-C0-00-01
DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.67.1
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :
As a result i have a whole bunch of computers reporting the wrong MAC address. It's not an issue but i thought i'd report it anway.
