Bitdefender says that Spywareblaster has a virus, Trojan.Agent.AIZM and has automatically disabled the program. Is this a problem with Bitdefender or a problem with Spywareblaster?
Thanks,
Bob

there is a better than average chance that it is a false positive in BD. You might try running an online scan at one of the other AV sites other than just relying on BD's results.
here is one. http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

When I woke up this morning, I found that BitDefender had completely disabled my SpywareBlaster!!! WTF?!?!? :o
It didn't just stop it, it DELETED my SB.........wow.
I got the same reason as everyone else: Trojan.Agent.AZIM
Up until this morning - SB and Bit Def have been working just fine together.
So did SB download a trojan when it updated, or did BD download a mis-informed virus update??
I won't give up Bit Def but I'm REALLY going to miss SpyWareBlastr. :(

Please, see here (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=213350) :)
It seems that the latest BitDefender signature update detects one of SpywareBlaster's main files as a trojan. It's a false positive. Other AVs (namely AVG (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=212191) and Windows Live OneCare/Windows Defender (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=213032)) have been detecting SpywareBlaster's files.
