OK. We are trying to skip certain files on our backups. We are currently backing up the entire disk, so in order to skip certain files we have gone to Tools --> Options --> Default Backup Options --> Source File Exclusions and are excluding the file types needed (ie *.bak, *.tmp, *.mp3, etc). This is not working. Once we run a backup of the entire disk and explore the TIB file, those file types are still in the image. Confused...any help is greatly appreciated.

So I take it no one in this community can answer this question for me? Wow...

Are they really in the image or are there just place holders? What are the sizes shown for these files? Try restoring a single file to a different location and see what you wind up with.
BTW - Sarcasm will get you nowhere - Wow.

It sounds like an image backup. I don't think Echo supports excluding files from an image backup. As far as I know, the option you list is for excluding files from a data (files & folders) type backup.

TI 11 supports excluding files from image backups.
