hello..my cousin's pc was hit by a file infector virus and we want to check if his acronis installation executable was harmed too (you would save me -you time if you could give director's suite's md5 too)
if the file was hit by the virus or modified by any way the md5 would be different, wouldn't it?
acronis true image home version : 11.0.0.8027
disk director suit version : 10.0.0.2117
thanks in advance

My results:
For DD (2,117): 1269c2daaf73d7916a2015e8e14b85de
For TI (8,027): b036452eb0bb3b4ff67215b2eb1e60da
You should note that both of these are old builds. It would probably be a good idea to download the current builds and use them instead of reinstalling the old ones.

well...the md5 matches..and thats not normal for such different versions, right??
as for the current build he didn't check/pay that option when he purchased while completing the form..so he can't re-download it...he doesn't have a link to do it

Didn't MudCrab give you the MD5s that you asked for?

not the exact ones..of older versions..that means they shouldn't match right?while they do..if the file was infected ,then would the md5 be different? im a bit confused :S

I gave the MD5 values for the builds you asked for from the files I have (US English versions). If you want the values for different builds, let us know which ones.
If you register your Acronis programs with Acronis (create an account if you don't have one), you can download the latest versions. All you need are the serial numbers. You don't have to download from where you purchased it.
