WinXP SP3 + NOD32 3.0.650.0 - System will freeze


Hello comunity,

I use the NOD32 Antivirus Home Edition Version 3.0.650.0 German with MS Windows XP SP3 DE.
Since 05/22/2008 I had got over and over trouble with my computer. First I thought my PC has an hardware defect because the OS was freezed. But now I know this is probable an issue with the nod32 Antivirus Software.
Mostly when an new virus pattern was downloaded and installed hangs the OS but no ever. The Windows XP is freezed.

Has someone here noticed the same phenomenon?
Exist an solution for the issue?
What says eset-Company for this issue?
