Any idea what is causing this,

click start then programs & ONLY 3,4 programs show, with downward arrows,

have gone into control, then taskbar & start menu, & have it set for
START MEMU & the "Classic start " checked

how do i plz reset this to show all the startup programs on computer, (so far only way is to go to restore back till yesterday,

If you go back to the Classic Start menu area and select Customize. If you then UN-select Use Personalized Menus, it would then put all of your programs in a line and you shouldn't then have the down arrow.

Bubba, i went back to system restore reset computer to yesterday they were all good, NOW THEY'LL BACK WAY AGAIN GOING TO TRY YOUR IDEA, NOW, how do I add image of whats going on, as you did,?weill advise after reboot,
