View Full Version : Can't see properties of csrss.exe in Vista's Task Manager!

It's not a trojan, the file is good, but it's the only process I can't see its properties or file location through task manager!

I found many topics about this googling, but nowhere a clear answer.

Just check it if you're using Vista, open task manager -> right click on csrss.exe -> Properties.. nothing happens!

Why?

PS: I am running as Admin and can view properties of ALL other processes.

Just tried it,your wright No properties.:-\

true,only right click item for that file is "perform administive tasks"
only way to get properties the easy way is to run process explorer using run as administrator.

Perhaps it's sth dark Microsoft doesn't want us look at :lurking:
