Sync Software for USB Drives

I am doing a bit of research for a family member who just bought two 750 GB Seagate Freeagent USB 2.0 Hard Drives.

Well here goes, does anyone know of any software that will do this:

Have two USB drives and when you write to one for the program to copy that data to the other USB drive either automatically or manually (1-click preferred)?

I know this can be done using a mirror RAID 1 with internal or externals, but the situation is that the USB drives are new and well they are under a 5-year warranty, if not I would open them up, remove them, and just buy an external RAID enclosure.

May want to check out Second Copy (http://www.centered.com/). It bills itself as real-time backup but you can have it automatically sync any changes in real-time.

I use GoodSync (the paid version.) Best sync software I've ever used.

Microsoft SyncToy will do this easily and well and it is free. It is one of the Microsoft Power Toys.

I use SyncBackSE (http://www.2brightsparks.com/syncback/sbse-features.html) and have no problems.

1. Cost is reasonable.

2. Allows running on up to 5 machines.

3. Many backup and synch options.

4. Set up multiple jobs or profiles as they are called.

5. Copies open files except for some password protected files that may be open.

6. Seems very fast.
