nod scanning help

i have more than 7000 files on my computer but nod scans only 4000 files why ?

NOD32 does not scan all files by default, only those that might potentially contain a virus (e.g. it's not plausible that a file with 000 extension would contain a virus, and if even so, it couldn't be executed until it was renamed). However, you can customize the extension set as well as objets to scan on the Setup tab in NOD32 scanner setup.
