Hello Forum,
Has anyone tried the Filseclad firewall.I downloaded 2hrs ago running very smooth with Twister, No computer slow down.

Yes, I did try and use it for a while a few years ago, it was kinda nice. No issues that I remember really, except for one little problem with logging, but the dev issued an update, which, when applied, fixed the issue. I don't know if it's been updated for a long time since then, but it was a decent rule oriented firewall that seemed to be pretty good. I rather liked it.

It did not make all the ports stealth for me .....................
well it was a long time ago . Is there any new version available ?

v 3.0.3.8982 is available via program's LiveUpdate (although it's about 18 months old).
One thing I very much liked was it's logging, in that every log entry's "allowed" or "blocked" bit of traffic is associated to a specific rule number. Makes diagnosing any issues fairly easy for dummies like me.
Outbound protection is weak, but no concern here in lieu of HIPS.
