Is ESET smart security freezing my netflix movies?

I log onto netflix and choose a movie to watch on my laptop and after a few minutes the movie freezes and the error message says, "your internet connection has stopped, when it reconnects your movie will start up again"

but it never does.

is ESET doing this?

Which version of ESS are you using?

Has it always done this or only after an upgrade?

I found the latest version of ESS would cause my Internet Browsers (IE and Safari for Windows) to suddenly freeze, then the whole system would become unresponsive. Performed the fix as provided by ESET in another thread, and so far all is well.

Perhaps might be worth trying in your case.
