Hello All,

Our mirror is running version 2.70 as most of our clients. I installed 3.0.65 on two machines (One 2003 and one XP), and neither can update. Is this not possible? Do I need to upgrade the mirror to the same version?

Thanks for your assistance.

NOD32 Version 2.7 and v3.0 are technically different programs and that is why their mirrors/updates are incompatiable .

Your v2.7 clients should update either from the v2 Mirror (NOD32 2.7 LanUpdate edition) , from the Eset RA v2.0.107 Mirror or from ESET servers directly via Internet

Your v3.0 clients should update either from the v3 Mirror (NOD32 3.0 Business edition) , from the Eset RA v2.0.107 Mirror from the ESET servers directly via Internet.

If you are going to run a mixed environment like this one (both 2.7 and v3.0) , I would suggest you install Eset RA v2.0.107 and configure it provide the updates for both v3 and v2 clients . You might need to change the settings for v2 clients before so that they are made to update from the server named like this:
http://<server_name>:<mirror_port>/nod32v2
e.g. http://192.168.1.1:2221/nod32v2/

The server for version 3 clients could be http://<server_name>:<mirror_port>/
http://192.168.1.1:2221
