Hi,

Just want to install an SPI firewall on a remote HTTP server (controlled with UltraVNC),

I need a firewall that is reliable (doesn't crash running 24/7) and also lightweight. I want to try Comodo 3 but...

How can I install Comodo so that it allows access to ports 5800 and 5900 inbound straight away. I don't want to be locked out from connecting to this remote machine. Is there a way to add a rule for this before Comodo is installed?

I don't know, maybe you can reboot in safe mode with network support then in safe mode you can edit rules for VNC (see pic.)
But I don't know does VNC work in safe mode...

Hi,
Create advanced rules that allow inbound connection to these ports...

Adding a firewall to a remote machine with no physical access is not a good idea in my opinion. To my knowledge there is no way to specify open ports before Comodo installs, but I could be mistaken.
