Hi! I'd like to ask if I want to schedule a full weekly backup on friday and daily differential backup on the remaining days (sat-thu). Retention period is 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, 1st and 2nd week backups should be overwritten on the 3rd and 4th week.


How many task would I create. Need urgent help!

What are the parameters needs to be configure?


There should be 1 full backup file and 6 daily differential backup files.

The schedule you described can be achieved by creating two tasks: to create a full backup every friday; and to create a differential backup every other day. To keep two weeks of backups the task to create full backup will need to execute a pre command. The command would rename two backup folders to each other's name. This way every folder will keep a week long set of backups.
