Hello,
I'm fairly new to what seems to be a security hobby. Currently my syste, consists of the K-Meleon browser, Comodo personal firewall (with Defence+ off - it causes major system problems for me) and Avira personal firewall (free).
I downloaded a fake keylogger application from these forums (specifically from this link (http://www.zemana.com/list/list.asp?ktgr_id=413)) and was dissapointed to see my keys being logged away without Avira taking notice.
Could someone provide some guidance as to what (preferably freeware) application would be appropriate for me to use in preventing this sort of malware? All I'm aware of is ThreatFire which apparently failed to block the keylogger app. I do use Sandboxie occasionally but prefer not to depend on it all the time.
Thanks for your guidance.
