Hi!

Ive been plagued by AntiSywareExpert and variants including Vista Antivirus 2008. I have Panda 2008 antiviral and PC tools Spyware doctor which both have failed to remove this malware. Any help?

You could try RogueRemover Free (http://www.majorgeeks.com/RogueRemover_d5360.html) by Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/).

I would give SuperAntiSpyware (http://majorgeeks.com/SUPERAntiSpyware_d5116.html) and Malwarebytes Antimalware (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html) a shot at that.
Both are excellent apps and have free versions.

This website is talking about "Antivirus 2008", not "Vista Antivirus 2008", maybe it is the same, it recommends MBAM for automatic removal.

These type of rogue apps are usually related to the smitfraud types and you could run Smitfraudfix.exe to see if any dregs remain after following instructions at the link below.

Superantispyware Pro v4.1 will remove this.I just removed the "full suite" from a customers pc which included Spywaremaster,WinAntivirusPro,etc. with it.I recommend Superantispyware to every customer I have, whether they have viruses or not.Best proggy for these rogue apps on the planet. If I were you I would consider purchasing the PRO version since it has many useful repairs included and for the $ including lifetime updates is a nobrainer.
