basic config questions re Outlook protection config

Hi,

I have NOD32 AV V3.0.642.0.

In Setup, under Email Protection/Microsoft Outlook, in the top section entitled "Email to scan" there are 3 checkboxes: received e-mail, sent email, and read e-mail.

My question is, if I have "received e-mail" checked, wouldn't also checking "read e-mail" be redundant? After all, before you can read an e-mail, you must have received it? Thanx. Jaygo

Hi, Received mail is scanned when the email message is downloaded from the server to the email client.

Read mail is scanned when the email message is opened. Hope that helps...
