I've noticed that in looking in the event log of NOD32 v3.x, sometimes updates are skipped. For example I might have update 3145, 3147, 3148, and be missing 3146. Is that a problem or are the updates cumulative so that as long as you have the last update you are OK?

Updates are cumulative . As long as you have the very latest , you have everything ;)
