comodo firewall v3 installation error

I am using comodo firewall on sp3 32bit

well i have installed comodo firewall(on sp3) before but didn't get an error.. (attachment)

i tried deleting the installer and redownload it.. same error.

I have never seen this before, but maybe there are remnants of your old Comodo installation in your PC? Because newer Comodo versions have incompatibility issues with older ones. I would use registry cleaner if i were you.

Also, you can go to run, type "regedit", go to HKey local Machine, System, Current Control Set, Enum, Root, right click, permissions, check allow Full control, then find legacy CMdAgent, CmdGuard, CmdHlp, Inspect and delete them.

Then try to install again and see what happens.

ok i fixed it.. i just installer Comodo Firewall 3.0.22.349 and then updated it to the newest version in program.

and ya i think it seems to be a issue of older comodo indtallations that were not removed.

I agree. The above Keys ALWAYS remain when you uninstall, even if you use Revo Uninstaller in advanced mode.
