FD-ISR Question

I am not a user of FD-ISR but I am thinking about trying it. Please answer these question.

1. Is it possible to backup to and do a recovery from a second hard drive (i.e., Internal SATA, Extrernal USB, etc.)?

yes it can be done.... u make the snapshot archive and than u can restore it on what ever snapshot u want on the "live" state of you pc

Yes it's possible. I do this regularly from a second internal harddisk AND also from an external USB harddisk. Archives can be stored on any partition and the number of archives is unlimited.
Just use copy/update from snapshot to archive or vice versa. You can also use the import/export function.

WHOA. OP said he is thinking of trying it. That means only FDISR-Rescue which we know doesn't have the archive feature.

Unless you happen to have an earlier version of FDISR, the answer is no.

If you want to backup your system, you have to use an Image Backup software, like ShadowProtect, Acronis True Image, ... there are so many of them.
FDISR Rescue has no archives like FDISR, it's just a simple boot-to-restore solution which allows you to restore your system immediately, when something goes wrong in your work snapshot.

Yes, you can say it this way. FDISR Rescue = eunuch of FDISR.
