View Full Version : Unable to connect to Internet after installing Smart Security v3.0.650.0

I have just upgraded my computer and completed a fresh (new) oem install of Vista SP1.

It works fine until I install Eset Smart Security, after which I am completely unable to access the internet or even log on to the modem/router.

It took me 3 days to narrow down the issue to being ESS, as disabling the firewall still does not allow internet access. Uninstalling ESS seems to solve the problem.

I have uninstalled ESS for the moment, and am using Windows Firewall and AVGfree as a stop gap measure until I can resolve the issue.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Suggestions?
