View Full Version : ATI 11: Safe Graphics Mode

I just downloaded the 15 day trial of ATI which I used to create a bootable rescue media CD.

Unfortunetly, while the system I'm testing it with is nothing special ATI doesn't seem to get along with the hardware. I suspect the problem is with the graphics drivers though I can't be certain.

What I'm wondering is there a way to force ATI to use a safe graphics mode (similar to the options available in Ubuntu or any number of other distros)? or is it already doing that?

Never mind found an entry in the "PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST" which sorted it out (quiet acpi=off noapic)
