:) Hi guys! Picked this up from my local PC Club. It answers the problems encountered with the Rescue Disk in Norton Antivirus. See below:

Are you using Norton AntiVirus 2001 or 2002 in Windows 9x or Windows ME? If so you may want to perform a LiveUpdate. Symantec has released an update to their rescue disk creation program. There was a bug in the program that one used to create rescue disks for these operating systems. In the past the program would prompt you to insert DISK 4 twice in succession resulting in the program overwriting the files on the floppy. With the updated program available through LiveUpdate the Rescue Disk set increases to 8 diskettes from 6 so you will need two additional floppies.
For more information on this bug and how to run LiveUpdate see

Make sure that once the update is complete that you recreate your rescue disks.

Hope this helps you out! :)
