free firewall problems.
I know outpost is old version with only 30 days updates available.
Online armor cannot be updated even though it's really good. you must reinstall to get new version, all stats and rules are deleted.
I heard comodo 2.4 does not update anymore, is it true?
Also, the most secure jetico 1.0 is good, but I don't know if it still updates. can someone confirm this?

Why not Comodo3?
Why you think jetico is safest? For what?

because I need a firewall for windows 2000. and comodo 3 does not support win 2000.
jetico 1.0 free version is known to have one of the best leak test results among the firewalls, even paid ones.

Not true. OA upgrades automatically without any intervention on your part. Shortly after you boot up, a dialog box appears notifying you that OA has updated to vx.xxx. Stats are retained. ;D Paid copy.

The OP was specifically asking about free firewalls.

Sorry for not paying attention to what you asked. I realized I was talking about the paid version after I made my comment, and added (paid) at the end. Actually it's worth the price.
