AVG - Which installer should I run?

After testing a few different products, I got AVG for my PC (paid).

Bit confused though.

The trial seems to be newer than the download from Element5?
Which should I install? Does it matter?

The trial version just has a more current signature database included. The program version is is the same. You should update anyway after installation so your signature database will be updated ;)

If you want to trial AVG 8 you should use the avg_avwt_stf_en* installation file because you can use the trial version.

As far as I know in the other package no trial key is included.

And (what I am not sure about is) if you don't have a license number you can't use the other installer anyway.
