Crashing when running scheduled scan

Hi all i've got a strange problem that has only started happening. Whenever i try to run a scheduled scan eset smart security causes my pc to crash, the scan doesn't even start, the progress bar doesn't move from 0% complete. Is there anything that can be done, or should i try reinstalling?

Hi, I would first try deleting that scheduled scan task:

(Tools -> Scheduler, select the scheduled scan task and click 'Remove'.

-Then recreate a new scan task using the steps in this Knowledgebase article:
