I am looking at purchasing a NOD32 for my home computers as I am very dissatisfied with my current AV's system overhead. The only concern I have is that my current AV allows scanning of network drives, and I can't tell if NOD32 home version allows this. I am running a Windows Home Server and the only AV I have seen that has a version specifically compatible with WHS is AVast, so I would like a AV that allows scanning network drives so I can regularly scan my server. Can anyone tell me if NOD32 can do network drive scans? Based on my research the other aspects of this software seem excellent - great detection rate, and low system overhead.

Thanks

Yes, the home version allows you to scan network drives in

Advanced Setup:
Antivirus and antispyware>Real-time file system protection> Media to scan
Options there are:
Local Drives
Removable Media
Network Drives

You could download the demo and take a look, see how it works out for your needs.

I have never used the Network Drive scanning, although I may have forgot to uncheck it at one time or another :)
