When I try and install DDSuite 10 or True Image Home 11, I keep getting error messages that I have bad sectors on one of my hard drives. I have run two disk checks, reformatted that drive, swapped locations........ nothing changes the install. When the two softwares do finally install that one drive isn't in the list of drives that I can work with. Why is Acronis finding errors with a drive that appears to have no errors. It is a new WD Raptor 150 GB. I can read and write to the drive with no issues. Drivers are up to date..etc. etc. I was even able to install the software onto this drive, yet when I use the software it doesn't show up!! Thanks for any help, before I RMA a good drive!!

Wild!
Haven't been to here for a long time (despite it being my favorite helpful site!), but just purchased DD10 also (w/True Image and Recovery - not installed yet), installed it on a brand new PC (Asus P5K) with two drives, and after installing two operating systems on each HDD, installed DD10 on HDD-1 (Seagate Barracuda Sata2 250GB) and while playing around a bit, HDD-2 (West.Dig.Cav. SE16, 500GB) crashed, and had to do a KillDisk and a reinstall.
Got the same error thing, bad sector 0 at 80h or something. (don't have the machine home yet...) And for the next 3-4 restarts, chckdsk went wild, deleted and repaired etc.. Now i have XP 64bit installed on that drive again, and am proceeding with extreme caution! :)
