How do I get MIDI files to play on my Ipod???

I downloaded the soundtracks to Ultimate Doom and Doom 2 and I want to play them on my Ipod. I can get them on Itunes but most of the files can not go on my IPod because it does not support these files. Can I convert them to a file that is playable???

You could try GX::Transcoder (http://www.germanixsoft.de/). With it, you can convert the midi to mp3 (or many other formats).
