Moderator, not sure which forum to post Question in

runing winxp home edition,pack II with all updates,

Is there a way to install or run min win98se in computer so able to play one of the old games, that won't work on winxp,?

Hello,

You can:

Use DOSBox for old games, I've written a few tutorials, if you need links tell me, although my sig is a good place to start.

Use a virtualization program like VMware Server or VirtualBox and run Win 98 inside them as a virtualized guest machine. For all practical purposes, they will be separate machines (running on your computer :) ) and you'll be able to install games and play them.

Vmware or Virtual box as stated above would be the fastest/safest option to do something that simple :)

You could always dual boot, but that can become a paint with older OS's
