Hi all

I'm wondering if anyone here has expertise in getting old dos based game to run on win 98se

See iv been trying to get privateer working now with a lot of messing round I got it working in dos mode but I got no sound or mouse or joystick

So now I have a lil patch that lets me run privateer in windows so that I don't have to mess round with reconfiguring my memory so I can run it in dos mode how ever its not perfect and I still cant get any sound but at least the game run and the mouse functions

So what I would really like to know is how do I get this to work correctly with sound and mouse and joystick Preferably in windows if not in dos

My other question is does any one know any dos emulators that can run privateer correctly as this is the other road i could go see I tried dos box but it don't work or at least I couldn't get it to work with dos box

So I need some help

Comments anyone ??

I always think to try (but never do it) the solution of slowing down my CPU for playing old DOS games.
There's a lot of programs to help you with this.

One of those :

I'm curious if it works...
If you try it, let us(me) know
Thanks !
