I have Acronis Disk Director Suite 10 and True Image Echo 9.5

I create a rescue disk with Bootable Rescue Media Builder

If I boot into True Image Echo, all local drives are found and I can backup locally or across the network.

If I boot into Disk Director, I get "E000101F4 ADD Suite has not found any hard disk drives".

Config:
ASUS P5E-VM HDMI
- Chipset: Intel G35/ICH9R
- Hard Drives: Seagate ST3500641AS (SATA II)
- BIOS SATA configuration set to 'Configure SATA as IDE'

Any thought as to why TI Echo can see the drives, but Disk Director can't?

Thanks!

Echo 9.5 has a much newer Linux kernel version and more current drivers than DD, which hasn't been updated in a while. As a result, DD is having more and more problems with direct access to newer boards.

Try using the Safe Mode version of DD. It may be able to see your drives correctly. Another option is to create a BartPE or VistaPE CD that includes DD.
