I installed Nod32 (3.0.642) about two months ago, changing from AVK antivirus. When originally installed the AVK automatically set the base priority in Task Manager to "above normal". With my very limited knowledge it made sense to me that an AV program should override all the other processes, so I left it like that.
I would be grateful if someone could tell me - would it be a good idea to change ekrn.exe to "above normal" priority, (or higher!), or would that cause problems?
Or, because of Nod's speed and efficiency -like butter off a hot knife compared to AVK - is it simply unnecessary to change it from "normal" ?
