Well, I realized after installing this.. that I made a mistake on the OS Selector not being compatible with Vista im assuming?

When it loads, "No items to display". It wont detect it at all, and I cannot deactivate it.

I found a way to get past it, by hitting F6. This will boot me back into Vista.

However, I will get very sick of doing this everytime. How can I uninstall it bypassing the "No operating system".

I was going to do System Restore, but realized Automatic Restore points were disabled :(

Any ideas how I can get rid of OS Selector?

If you want to use OSS and it doesn't detect your Vista installation (an brand-name OEM installation, for example), you can manually edit the BOOTWIZ.OSS file to add it. See this thread: Vista disappeared in dual boot (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=192957) (post #14 details the procedure).

If you want to proceed and have problems, post back.

--------------

If you've included the OSS programs on the DD CD, have you tried to deactivate it from there?

Otherwise, you can boot to a standard Vista DVD, enter the command prompt and run the following commands (<ENTER> means to press the ENTER key):
bootrec /FixMbr <ENTER>
bootrec /FixBoot <ENTER>
