Hi
I'm running a website in the Netherlands (www.binck.nl) that only shows the streaming info (which is a java-script) only when I disable "web access protection".....
If I keep it enabled, the website / JAVA freezes....
How should I work around this problem without disabling the web access protection each time???
Anyone?

I'm using ESS version 3.0.650.0... updated yesterday.
The problem arises in both IE 7.0.5730.13 and Firefox 2.0.0.14.
I think at the moment JAVA tries to connect to the site it gets its streaming info from, ESS blocks the connection? But how should I find it out?

Hi, I think you should add "www.binkck.nl" to the excluded addresses in the web access protection module.
-Press F5 to open Advanced Setup window -> Antivirus and antispyware -> Web access protection -> HTTP -> Excluded addresses and click "Add". Let us know if this resolves the issue you're talking about...

sorry, have not been able till a couple of hours ago to check this option.
But unfortunately, this solution is NOT working...
Somehow, the JAVA plugin is trying to do something that ESET doesn't like, but what?!?!?
Any other ideas? I'm out of options (except to switch off web access protection eacht time I use this website)...

FOUND IT!!!
I had to REMOVE port 8080 at the 'web access protection' => HTTP => ports used by HTTP... I supposed, wrongly, that port 8080 had to be in this list instead of removed from it...
But after all, problem is solved!!
Thanks anyway everyone for spending time to solve this problem
