Hello,

I searched this forum but haven't found a solution regarding this.

I downloaded v3 from the following link
ESET NOD32 3.0 Antivirus for Win XP/2000/Vista (32-bit):

http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php

After answering the basic set up questions and right before the installer begins with installation, it complains that it can't access the msi file that I just doubled clicked to start the installation.
"Error reading file eav_nt32_enu.msi. Verify that the file exists
and that you can access it."

I have already uninstalled version 2. I tried just about every configuration option with/without id/password, custom install/ typical install.

Any ideas?

Thankis. I tried all those things including reinstalling msi installer. No luck. I'm not convinced its the msi installer. I do more than my share of using msi installer and haven't seen any problems with it before.

I'm on xp pro.

pls download SysInspector v1.1.1.0 (http://www.eset.com/download/sysinspector.php) and run it then save logs and send them to support@eset.com with this thread URL
do you install or uninstall other AV before installing EAV?
