I am a fan of acronis true image, but I gotta tell you, it's one of those programs that feels necessary to load a bunch of files on boot. Just looking at running processes right now, I have:
TrueImageMonitor.exe
TimounterMonitor.exe
schedul2.exe (acronis scheduler)
schedhlp.exe (acrnois scheduler helper)

Is there any way to not have these load up and still use acronis TI? I can block them from loading, but don't want to screw up the functionality of the software.

If you do not use automatic scheduled backup you don't need them. Otherwise you have to have them boot up.
