hi i'd like to report a version number invalid on the setup file and the program i have on it is 8.5.1302.1018 and the setup file of windows live messenger installer is 12.0.1471.1025 i believe they need to restore the setup file for windows live messenger.

12.0.1471.1025 may refer to something else like the version of the installer. It might not be something invalid.

oh i wasn't so sure about that because i had a feeling it looked invalid and it was normal on the previous version i had installed of it

If you're worried about it get it from Filehippo or Software Patch. They're usually up to date.

I think it is not whether the software is up to date or not. DragonFan20 is pointing the different version numbers used in the installer. Just my 2 cents.

yep exactly because of it being like that i am not sure what caused it
