problame| partition's size locked

I got error while tring to "increase free space" or resize a primary partition which suddenly locked and cant reduce or enlarge size.

Disk Director will not allow a partition with bad sectors to be resized, so first try running chkdsk /r to eliminate that cause as a possibility.

If this is not the reason then could you post a screen shot from Disk Director in manual mode showing your current partition layout?

Thank you very much for your response, you've solved the problame.
I checked the disk and fixed the bad sectors and now acronis can resize freely.
