Hello,

I'm trying to resize my primary and unique partition.
I have a SATA hard disk of 250GB in my Ahtec notebook. I have installed XP SP2 and all is running fine. I have 214 GB free in the disk, and I want to resize the partition to make it 50 GB, with 200 GB allocated for antoher partition that I will create later.

When I try to resize the partition I get "disk not found" every time.

I have tried 2 ways.
First with the Disk Director Suite 10, using a bootable CD. It boots fine, but when I select the partition manager I get the error.
Second with an old version of Partition Expert (installing it). I get the same error at the reboot.

Help me please.

P.D.: Finally I have solved the problem by myself. I have boot using the Disk Director Bootable CD, and selecting Safe mode it works perfectly.
