View Full Version : Bootsystem is marked as hidden, can not change this...?

Hello,
I have two primary partitions with 35GB.
I installed WinXP-SP2 onto the first (visible).
And OS Selector, to see how it works.

Then, with TrueImage I generated an image file of the partition.
Then I restored the image file onto the second partition.
So practically I have exactly the same on both partitions.

I made the second partition hidden for the first system.

I activated OS again and it found the second system.

But I can not make the second partition visible even if it is
the Boot system!

See attached picture:
The second system has both checkboxes marked "active"
and "hidden". Which makes no sense at all.
But I can not change the checkboxes because they are greyed out...

What is the workaround for this OS Selector bug?

Best regards
Juergen

See this thread: Ohhh OSS (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=176064) (post #2 details the changes needed).

If you have any problems making the change, post back.
