Can anyone confirm my belief that NOD32's anti-spyware protection is real-time, and not just invoked with an on-demand scan/In Depth Analysis by NOD32?
I ask because I'm trying to convince someone that a paid AV (such as NOD32) is not equivalent to say the free version of AntiVir (a good AV, but without anti-spyware protection) plus a couple of good free on-demand anti-spyware scanners such as AVG-AS or SAS.

In EAV/ESS v3 and NOD32 v2 is spyware detection included.

It isn't a separate module, all modules use the same definitions. See all the defintions with Adware as the classification.
