XP and Standby Mode

This is really weird, but for some reason XP won't autmatically enter standby mode after the allotted time. But it will enter standby mode if I do it manually? Any ideas on how to fix this or what could be going on?

I have this problem and so do a lot of other people from my research on the web. Very strange as standby used to work and then it stopped. Haven't a clue what I did to XP.

I tried various programmes and settled on this one.

Re the options I have them all set except the top one and the bottom two.

It runs at 2.5M according to Task Manager.
