Ever since the Firefox 2.0.0.13 update, it's taking four times as long to load. I'm hard wired to a Linksys router with the firewall enabled, I'm inside a Sandboxie session, have Comodo Firewall and Defense+ enabled, AVG Anti-Spware, Windows Defender and NOD32 all enabled and monitoring. So my question is, while home, should I just keep a web page open at all times? Firefox flies once open, it's just this 20 to 30 second load time that drives me nuts! Thank You!

Hello,
And outside Sandbox session?
What happens with security apps closed - SD, AVG AS and Comodo + in particular?

The only risk I see is that Firefox might eat up memory while its open.

I would try outside the sandboxie and see if it make a difference.

My goodness, you could shed 50% of that security and still surf securely.

It was all about Comodo and Defense+. I uninstalled it and am using Online Armor without any lag. Thanks for the input!

Hello,

No worries.

BTW, I always debug problems like this:
- Compare naked install on a default system to the troubled system.
- Try to read logs if there are any (a bit difficult on Windows).

Finally, I have found quite a few security apps, especially when used together, to be a tricky business, and never really belevolent in terms of performance, application clashes and crashes.
