Our java developers has started complaining about very slow system performance after we have deployed NOD32 to their machines. We have already excluded the *.jar and *.war files from NOD32 but still the problem is there.

Anyone experiencing the same? Any workarounds?

Hello!

Try to open the Advanced setup tree and enter every module's ThreatSense engine setup . Not simply exclude the two extensions but just make the program scan just files with certain extensions (the default ones) .

199000

Use the exclusions option to add some folders or programs not scanned at all
If you want a whole folder excluded + its subfolders , you must use a format that ends with a single start the the end , such as:
C:\Program files\Program1\example\*

What was the previous AV software ? Make sure all leftovers are gone.

P.S. If you use Business edition , you can find all of the above settings in the ESET Configuration editor and push the configurations to the clients (a.k.a your developers' computers)
