Giving F-PROT another whirl since NAV2008 still refuses to install on my antiquated test machine. Unfortunately their sample submission site seems to be down, and has been for some time now.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Supposedly only temporary!

But yet another example of them being swamped by things to do and not enough hands on board!!

It appears to be back up.

Probably disabled because they have to many to process. Maybe they will post a massive signature update excedding Dr. Webs recent efforts. ;) :P

Reply back;
{QUOTE-> The virus submission form proved to be quite unstable and was disabled for this reason. As it was, large amounts of unnecessary traffic was being directed through it.

Current status of this is that the background services that handle the delivery of samples to viruslab needs revising. Also, a captcha check needs to be added, but seemingly some dependencies are getting in the way.

We are looking into this. The fact is that we all miss the submission form... <-QUOTE}

Thanks for the reply Blackcat. I guess I'm a lazy guy and hate the standard method of email sample submission.
