No pop up's in DrWeb

DrWeb no longer give update popup after updating and it does not give balloon pop up of stats when I place my moude pointer on the tray icon. I have not made any changes to the .ini file. All settings are at default as it has been for 3 years. What happened?
Any suggestions?

I just noticed that if DrWeb does not scan a file if I use the context menu. The scanner comes up but it does't scan the file automatically.

I'm not using DW but have you tried uninst/reinst the app? with a little help of a regcleaner in-between..

May be it's new malware?
