Either this is the worst software in the world, or I'm doing something very wrong.
I Purchased ADDS quite some time ago, to help with a simple partition problem. Now I have updated it, and I am adding a RAID 5 disk array. When I run ADDS, no user Interface comes up. Checking with Windows Task Manager, I see a process called DiskDirectory.exe, just running its little life away. I have let it run mow for about an hour and it is currently utilizing 50% of CPU and has devoured 1,151,104K (that's right 1.1GB) of memory and is still going.
What is the deal? At this point I am fairly certain something is going to happen here shortly, and it won't be Acronis Disk Directory doing what I paid for it to do. Any help PLEASE, cause I'm lost... ???
