Convert mpc to mp3

Hello,
I would like to make a compilation for my car CD, which only reads mp3s. Does anyone know of a handy tool for the necessary conversion? Can be Windows / Linux. Anyone used gnormalize?

Hello,

I solved it. Here's a solution:

Install SoundConverter in Linux (Ubuntu).
Install lame, gstreamer-plugins-ugly-multiverse

And then, it's a simple thing of converting files.

Tried gnormalize, not impressed.

Tried audio converter script, can't find musepack-tools...
