What engines do they use now? If memory serves it had ad-aware, F-prot,& KAV? Still use Back web?

no idea sorry.
i thought backweb was just an updater for the 2006 and older versions.

Yea, I agree it was the updater, but I also recall some fuss that it was spy ware in and of itself. Monitored keystrokes and such.???

rubbish, I had my best days with fsecure when backweb was a separate application.
I really used to like the backweb feature, it wasn't just for updates, gave status and much information too,
Backweb did used to have some occasional malfunctions tho, but all the avs did back then.
